Does anybody know how to adjust bonnet alignment?
My front N/S corner sits high - the rear edges both sit slightly low. The front gap also seems excessive.
I sheared a small shouldered fastener today attempting a tweak. Only the whole hinge is available as a spare part, but an allen bolt restored the existing level of misalignment.
All help appreciated.

Hi, to get the front corners down the "U" shaped hooks have a nut that you turn, to adjust the gap between the bonnet and bumper slacken the bolts and push, I added some shim washers on mine to lift it slightly, have never messed with rear, the hinges are designed to lift the bonnet if a pedestrian is hit, hope this helps you, Tony

I've seen a lot of e paces with only one of the two latches closed properly. There is one on each side of the front of the bonnet. So make sure you push down on Both sides if the bonnet appears uneven.
On delivery the rear of my bonnet was set ~3mm low compared with the fenders. Jaguar fixed this at the first service. Now perfect!

Thanks for the replies - I already adjusted the U hooks to their limit, but the gap remained unchanged. Must be something else cock-eyed!
The main dealer was booked to take a look, but have cancelled with the current situation. Just have to wait.

Good evening,

I was also complaining bonnet alignment but I set it this afternoon.

Driver side was looking ok and passenger side was looking up, gap was too much. (Vehicle is rhd sane as uk)

Several weeks ago I screw in passenger side rubber stop of bonnet to decrease gap also screw in driver side rubber bonnet stop.

These can not solve bonnet alignment problem.

This afternoon I screw out driver side rubber stop (increase its height). This decrease gap at passenger side. Several little tweaks and looks very good now.
