Re: Turbo Whistle

Just had my D180 in for its first service and they say there's a whine when lifting off the throttle. I haven't heard it but if it's been an incremental thing perhaps I wouldn't have noticed. Needs new balance shafts apparently, fairly common it seems. 4-5 days work to get the whole engine out etc.....

Re: InControl news channels

To be honest I'm waiting to get my 4G card to work again, but I didn't tend to use the news and weather panel much when it did work. The US based info did irritate me though I agree with you.

Re: Valve caps

Hi - some learning to share. Totally seized on. Panic. Internet tales of wrecked TPMS sensors at £50 a pop. Taki...

Re: Transmission Problem

at traffic lights it's far easier to hold it on the foot brake, or engage the electronic hand brake button. Then just release foot brake or press accelerator to move. Takes ages if you put it into Park. That said, in your original post you say it "no longer rolls forward" so it does sound like somet...

Re: Front Cup Holder Cover

To be honest I'd go back to your dealer and ask, assertively, for a cover. Even if they whip the one out of the model in the showroom or some used stock. It was in the car you saw, it's in the manual, it's reasonable for you to expect it.

Always wondered what a subnet mask was.

Perhaps it's inferior PPE bought from a dodgy website...
