The 19 inch wheels suit the size of the car perfectly, in my opinion. You also get more rubber between the road and wheel, which in rural Australia is essential. Low profile tyres on larger wheels get smashed with regular monotony here. Definitely worth thinking about...

Re: Engine oil

I discovered that the oil level was low, just days after getting my car - it was just above the minimum mark, meaning that it could take another 1 litre. Rather than the hassle of driving back to the dealer, I researched alternative oils to the Castrol Edge Professional oil recommended by Jaguar. Th...

Re: Puddle lights

As far as I can tell, they only illuminate when unlocking or shutting down the car when it's dark or the car is in the garage in low light conditions. They come on with the courtesy get you home headlights, every time on mine ( also a D180 SE). If the low light sensor is covered or the windscreen is...

I'm not sure if the position of the curtain airbags may have had something to do with this? The airbag warning symbols on the side of the headlining are pretty much where grab handles would be. Having said that, I'm sure other manufacturers have dealt with this adequately. It would be an improvement...

Re: Oil Change

I would say that an invoice detailing the oil and filter used would be evidence enough that the service was carried out according to the manufacturer's specifications. Most non-franchised mechanics should have the software to reset the service message too. My daughter had her Range Rover Sport servi...

Re: Stainless window frame warning

You may have already thought of this, but it's definitely worth contacting the supplier about this. My experience is that they are very receptive to feedback in order to maintain a high score as an ebay supplier. It looks like those two small pieces could easily be remade and posted to you without t...

Re: Paint damage

Thanks I’ll go in this weekend, and as for that wiper issue it’s a joke I don’t get why they’re made that way they know first thing anyone wil do is pull the wipers up to clean the glass and also even if you put the wipers in service mode to allow you to lift the wiper blades you need to keep the e...
