In answer to the loudness of the fan, once the pump is replaced that fan noise it not noticeable. I have never had an answer as to why it kicks in, as when the problem occurs the engine itself does not overheat even on long journeys and the fan would not prevent overheating. I too have problems with the update tool with my mac on Catalina. Update works but took in total about 14 hours. I have a 68mbps connection so its not the connection.

running catalina on macbook pro and using map updater at the moment, version is 1.2.1.

yup speed checks at 60Mbps, still trying to complete download after 24hrs, had to restart it seems to help a bit

Just getting the latest map update from Jag incontrol, you now need a 64Gb memory stick and so far im on 3 hours and app says another 4 hours to completion. Now my download connection is approx 68Mbps so should take around an hour 8 hours is taking the proverbial.

Can now get the correct price for the P250 comes in at £997 for 3 years and 3 services. Still hella expensive compared to the original plan.

Dan, it would be really helpful if you were able to specify the cost and interval for the first 3 services, and then provide a quote for the service plan so we can easily compare? Just rechecked my details and you now have the option to change the plan to a 16k or 12mth interval. Comes out at 996.94 for 3 years.

Also the "Bespoke" plan is so bespoke it ignores Jaguars own service schedule. The P250 petrol is 16k or annual service but when reg is put in to the service plan calculator it comes up as 21k or 2 year intervals and a whopping £1618 for 2 minor and one major service.
