Re: Very loud fan noise

Mine was replaced for a second time on Monday. The part number is different from the previous replacement pump according to the service desk when I asked. if you involve Jag assistance it’s hard to fault them and I got a Velar hse300d to enjoy for 5 days. They even didn’t wash the car as instructed ...

Re: Very loud fan noise

Me too again by the looks of it. Fine for my 8 mile run to work but it comes on if it’s started again and run on a short journey once warmed up but not every time. From experience that will happen soon enough. Working up to a CS call next week. I hope by now the pump is modded properly but I doubt it.

Re: New update out

Thanks KJ I couldn’t fathom how it could have caused the fan issue but the timing was so close it seemed related. Not sure I will get any work done at present as Scotland is still under lockdown but will contact the dealer next week. I have my doubts about the part arriving though as last time it wa...

Re: New update out

WARNING this software update appears to have caused my fan to run like a jet engine again. I had this issue a year or so ago and it had the whole pump replacement thing done and it's been fine. One journey whilst software updated and the fan came on for no reason which seems like no coincidence to m...

Re: New update out

Thanks boba. I’ll do in my way to work on Monday. So nothing new apart from the front screen by the locks of it. Hopefully it helps Android play work a bit smoother when connecting but doubt it.

Re: New update out

I got a notification that new software was ready to install ota. I almost tapped install then decided to check if it’s okay and no one has any issues. Not having access to dealer easily and needing my car to get to work daily stopped me. Also it’s been a while and as it’s only a 10 min drive does th...

Re: recommendation p250

Mine is a 2018 car but is a 2019 MY. I think early ones had the older infotainment but ultimately if the one your considering has Android/ Android play your sorted.

Re: recommendation p250

The car is heavy and fuel economy in stop start town driving is 15mpg at best, you can get just over 30 on motorway journeys but being realistic its more like 26mpg. It’s fast though so overtakes are reassuring :D As for infotainment make sure it’s a 2019 MY that’s pretty good in use especially the ...

Re: Unreliable throttle response

The instructions on resetting were on an XE forum and also on a few others as the ZF 9 speed is used ina few makes of car. There is no official advice and.ZF don’t encourage owners to do it so at own risk. This thread is an interesting read
