Re: Very loud fan noise

Mine did that just after I had it fixed, probably due to air trapped in the coolant circuit somewhere. My dealer topped it up and asked me to bring it back again if it reoccurred. I'd take it back again, if I were you, to get them to top up again and also check for any leaks. I know it's a bit of a ...

Re: Central display startup

I've had a blank screen an odd time or two but I've not noticed if this coincided with anything else happening, i.e. after filling up.

Re: Map updates

barry brown, you must ensure that the memory stick is formatted as Fat32 and the download speed is dependant upon the speed of your internet connection. Mine takes about 90 minutes. I'm not sure that Jaguar would format the stick for you. What it does do is install some downloading software onto you...

Re: Map updates

I never managed to update the navigation directly to the car, even when it's connected to my home Wi-Fi. I've downloaded this months update to a 64Mb SD card and just finished installing it in the car (about 20 mins). It seems that updates become available on the 1st of each month.

Hi Profcfrost, based on my experience, I would call Jaguar Assistance straight away. See my post dated in October last year. The service was great.

Hope these help. The Dealer fitted them before delivery, I think they are worth the cost. Btw, I know it needs cleaning I've just done 100 mile motorway journey.

Well done Jagster, I have tried your solution and it's working correctly now. I must remember to cancel my booking at the dealership now.

Re: Fiji white paint

I don't know for certain but I would guess that it does have a clear lacquer coat. I would recommend buying your touch up paint from a JLR Dealer to be certain you have the right colour and lacquer. It's not cheap but at least you will get what you need including the lacquer and you should have no w...

Re: Heated Seat Switches off

I tried the process that Pilly suggested, i.e. letting the Infotainment screen start up first. At first, after turning the drivers seat heater on, I thought that it was the solution but then it turned off again. Ah well, I've got it boked into my dealership next week for some diagnostic tests. Finge...
