Nearly out of time to change order and still pondering on adding this, so need advice, especially since finding you may need the additional 'configurable Dynamics ' to be able to adjust this separately. Is this true?
So without the extra add on does the car just set its suspension automatically ?
Only reason to add would be more comfort given the reviews on ride quality. So would want to set this to comfort most the time and assumed you had a manual choice between comfort or dynamic ?
Tbh I've driven two with standard suspension and was pleasantly surprised and had an Evoque for years and never found it bad at all.

Configurable Dynamics only works in Dynamic mode. Without it steering, suspension etc is tightened up automatically in Dynamic mode. With Configurable Dynamics you can change these setting e.g. less firm suspension. As your reason for getting Adaptive Suspension is comfort then Configurable Dynamics won't be needed.

Thanks for the response, so as thought Dynamics is only for firming and creating a sportier drive.
Question now remains
1 can you adjust the suspension or is it a fully automatic one?
2 if you can is 'comfort' improved or just handling?

As an example in bmw 'comfort' mode mearly returns the suspension to the same as stock so no benefit

Hi, Comfort setting in "Configurable Dynamics" is returning to stock suspention in dynamic mode, if you are looking for a softer ride in stock mode then get smaller wheels and bigger tyres.
On the other hand you can also set the steering back to comfort in dynamic mode which I like better as it gives more feel.

Dont forget about the adaptive part of this susspention, meaning it will adapt to the tarrain you are driving on, which means it is feeling the bumps for you and adjusting to them in real time !!

Also remember, it is doutfull that you can add this later, as it will be a module, if you think you may like it and can afford it, then why not ?

But if you don't have "configurable dynamics " how or even can you adjust the suspension?
What does the switch by the gear-lever do?

Still waiting an official answer form Jag but looking like standard suspension is same as adaptive in comfort mode. When switching to dynamic on standard car obviously suspension stays same but throttle and steering tighten. But if you add adaptive the suspension firms too which if you don't want you can't control unless you ad the configurable pack.
Looking on auto trader i can't find any cars with this option so probably will pass
