When driving in the snow for the first time today with my P250, I was suprised how much the car relies on front wheel drive! When you accelerate, you get 50:50 front/rear, but the amount of torque is then quickly reduced to maybe 80:20, going back to FWD as soon as possible. I wouldn't have noticed without looking at the ASI suite on the center screen because the ride is so smooth...

Am I going crazy, or did the subject of this posting used to be called "Active Driveline"... I was going to ask isn't the behavior you are seeing just called 'all wheel drive' but I guess if the subject was edited, that answers that!

I'm still trying to figure out if there is a screen, a simple driving test, or something I can just look at and point to on or under the car to see what active driveline is.
