Hi everyone,

Has anyone noticed on the analog dash that the indicator lamps do not dim when adjusting the brightness knob? All those green lights (forward alert indicator, headlights indicator, fogs, etc.) can be pretty eye piercing on a dark night. The speedometer et. al., dim properly, but not the indicators.

I was in a Range Rover Evoque the other day with a similar instrument panel, and it was the same way.

Does anyone know what's going on here? Can this be fixed? It renders the dashboard dimmer knob practically useless below the halfway point...

Thanks TonPoe,

I'm aware of that commando mode setting, but that's not what I'm interested in...

I would just like our regular old dashboard dimmer functionality, that hasn't changed from vehicles of decades past, when turning the dimmer knob by your knee. I have the analog instrument dial if it matters. For some weird reason, none of the notification lamps besides the dials dim or brighten with the twisting of the knob.

Thoughts from anyone else?
