I am about to take delivery of a new E pace D200 R Sport HSE. On the Invoice it says Manufacturers Delivery Charge £515.00.

Has anyone else seen this charge. I would have thought Jaguar prices included delivery.

I didn't have any specific delivery charge on my bill (in France) but some « start-up costs ».

In Australia it's called "Dealer Delivery" and was AUD$4,450.

Got mine in October and yes £515 (inc VAT) is on the invoice for manufacturer's delivery charge.

I think dealers started showing items separately on invoices rather than showing an "on the road price" when the government bought in the £40,000 retail price cap, for road fund tax changes, now you see cost of vehicle + whatever used to be included, delivery, RFL, number plates, pdi, fuel,

Also, be aware that the any delivery and PDI costs are included in the calculation for the on-the-road price regarding the £40k threshold. Mine was a stock car and but I wanted the cost to come under £40k which the dealer said it was, but I was stung by the "luxury" car tax a year later when I found out that the delivery costs etc. were added on!
