I've recently bought a First Edition with which I have a very uncomfortable problem. Because of a long-standing back problem I have to have the seat back very upright. Consequently the head rest is pushing my head forward and making driving very unpleasant. Moving the head rest up or down does not help. I have had this problem with previous cars and the very simple answer is to take the head rest out, turn it 180 degrees and put it back on the seat. Job done, comfortable seat! No matter how hard I try I cannot get the headrest off my E Pace seat. The collars around the supporting rods do not have the facility to release the rods, in fact when I study it closely I can see that the rods do not go up and down, it is just the head rest itself that moves. I have contacted my dealer who tried his best to find me a solution but quoted safety and legal reasons as the reason for the head rest not being removable. Direct contact with Jaguar resulted in the very same answer but in a very sharp and arrogant way! Anybody got any ideas?
