Hi everyone. I've had my epace for just over three years and it lost all power on Friday. I called out the AA and their diagnostic test said that the fuel pump control unit was broken and needed replacing - one month out of warranty!

Has anybody else experienced this problem? Any success/tips in getting problems fixed outside of warranty?

If you’ve had your car serviced at the same dealer then make a gentle fuss and they are likely to give you a generous goodwill discount. I got 80% off an expensive part when my car was just 1-year out of warranty. When I expressed disappointment they went through my service history and gave me the discount as I’d serviced the car for the last 4 years with the same dealer.

The dealer may also get JLR involved as so close to warranty. Again hopefully free of charge or with substantial discount

What is the potential cost of repair?

I just tried a bit of googling and it looks like its a £75 part Genuine Jaguar E Pace Fuel Pump Module 2017> on T4A16365 FK729D370AF ( – Norfolk Prestige Car Parts UK Ltd of course assuming its just that module.
I wouldn't own an e-Pace (or indeed any modern complex car) without a cast-iron warranty. Jaguar have spent thousands fixing mine.
