I have noticed on my wife's 2019 E Pace R Dynamic SE with heated front seats option, that they only seem to be heated in the seat base, and not the backrest? Never seen this before? Anyone else noticed this or fo you think there is a problem with them?
Thanks in advance.

Not really a direct answer to your question however, I had heated seats retro fitted to my E-Pace and the heat pads were installed both in the base and the back of the seats.

2019 P200 R Dynamic S.
The heated seats on my car heat your lower back and seat. I must say worth every penny as an extra fit on the car.

I have an R Dynamic SE and my seats heat both the back and seat. Mine was built Sept/Oct 19. Not sure if its classed as the 2020 model but I am sure its a fault.

If you look in your handbook it will show you how to access the seat settings on your screen. From three you can chose what you want heating

Hello everyone
Can anyone tell me if they also experience uncomfortably high seat heating in their E-Pace (with fabric seats - NO leather seats).
I just complained to my Jaguar dealer (in Germany) and he reckons this is known to Jaguar and they cannot / won't do anything.
Basically the seat heating is designed for leather seats and the intensity is designed for those seats and not fabric seats- on fabric seats the seat heating is unbearable after 2 min on level ONE. Dealer told me to escalate it to Jaguar bit that he doesnt think much will happen as they have already passed on customer complaints and apparently Jaguar says there is nothing they can do. Heat is unpleasant- not exaggeration.
I find it difficult to believe that a luxury car maker will sell a car with fabric seats, sell u the heat seating as an extra option knowingly the heat seating is not suitable for those kikd of seats.
Any experiences or advice?

I have leather seats and find the seats get a bit too warm initially but after about 10 mins they settle back to a more comfortable temperature. That's on the "1" temp setting.

Others on the e-pace facebook page have noticed the same so it appears to be a "feature" rather than a problem.
