hi iv purchased a stolen recovery e pace and need access to the boot to see what
items have been disconnected for tracker etc if any...
the cars unlocked but only the boot won't open I have the correct key but it needs reprogramming as current message displaying wrong key even though the key blade fits the drivers door lock, I can't see anything on the boot area for key blade insert to manually open, am I missing a trick here? just need to get a jag key specialist out but he wants me to access the boot first to see if any modules missing.

any help much appreciated as guy salmon failed to look at the car for 4 weeks so its being recovered back to me tomorrow

The emergency blade key opens the boot.

Slide the chrome side off the key fob. Look by the number plate light there is a cover for the keyhole

Dont know if this applies to e-pace though

thanks I managed to get in just needed a battery charge and the boot opened, I will check out what you mentioned though as there must be a back up way, cheers
