Hi All

New to this forum but have had my 2018 53K miles Epace from new with just one fuel pump fault in that time.

But

Recently and coincidentally after a 72K mile main dealer service I have noticed initial lumpy running on first start up each morning which soon clears.

I’m also smelling oil inside the car after a reasonable drive and wonder if the two are connected.

Putting it to the combined knowledge and experience of this forum for ideas PLEASE

Petrol or Diesel?
Just as a moment of paranoia I would check the oil level just in case the service got that horribly wrong, and hopefully they didn't slop oil over the engine doing the oil change.
If you have extended warranty I would be inclined to take it back to the dealer.

Hi All Just an update on my post above The lumpy running was diagnosed by Jaguar Assist as Glow Plug Cylinder 3 gone down. This would probably have been covered by my Extended Warranty but the recommendation to renew them all wouldn’t be Coupled with the need to renew brake pads & discs front & back highlighted at the service. Quoted at £3k by main dealer. Plus Extended Warranty costing £1200 This made my lovely 1 owner Jaguar no longer economically viable. A shame it was a lovely car in first class condition. Sold on to to a dealer. It’s gone now Instead I’ve bought a RR L322. At least there’s a bit of certainty with that. It WILL cost me money 🤪
