I can't believe there isn't a discussion thread about the parcel shelf. Words completely fail me, I don't think I've ever come across something that projects nothing but...pure cheap tat. By contrast my wife's Polo has a beautifully crafted and engineered parcel shelf. But then Germans know how to do engineering and manufacturing.

I might start a forum on parcel shelves. There's a gap in the market.

Your both right, it does look cheap and nasty and I have been trying to find a third party that may supply one. no luck so far.

I much preferred the roller blind style parcel shelf in my Freelander 2s. You could leave it retracted if you were carrying something bulky without having to remove it entirely as is the case with the E-Pace. Agree it is a pretty shoddy piece of equipment and don't understand why the rear section is separate, fixed to the tailgate and appears to be non-removable (without a screwdriver).

They are both removal and unclip in seconds. I have done it to put a dog crate in the boot. I actually found it pointless with tinted windows
