I have had my R Dynamic HSE 240D for four months now. Bought 2nd hand from Jag Dealer with 22K on the clock. I have done about 2500 miles since. Last time I cleaned it I noticed some evidence of "road-rash" damage to the door bottoms, presumably from small stones being flicked up from the wheels. Anyone else had this problem? Would mudflaps sort it? I wonder why it wasn't there when I bought it.......maybe 'cos I live in a rural area, and the previous owner only took it on major roads?
I had exactly the same problem on my 2008 X Type (for which there were no Jag-flaps made), and I have noticed the same problem being reported on the XE forum.

I had this issue on my first XE, even with mudflaps. I got the areas film protected on the second XE and was much better.
Not noticed issue on my E-Pace.
Where on the doors are you seeing this ?
