Hi Guys
When I was picking up/purchasing my used e pace from the dealer, he could not find the spare key.
Its been 3 weeks now and he says he is getting a new one made up.
Should it take this long ?
I have made numerous phone calls and he is very vague about what is going on, I get the impression that he is hoping that I will just go away.

You could try 'phoning another dealer and ask what would be the procedure for obtaining a replacement, if they give you enough information, re-contact your supplier and ask why it's taking so long, if not satisfied with their explanation, contact CRC on here and they will escalate with the dealer

When I was having problems with one of my keys I was told they have to be ordered from the factory, presumably dealers don't have the ability to programme a new key as a security measure. Also suspect they are expensive. Do make sure that they re-configure your car to disable the lost key when you do get to pick up the new one.

Why the lengthy delay? What was their excuse?

They were blaming the jaguar uk key department, saying because of covid, they are only back in action.

Everyone is using that excuse for everything - it's the perfect get out clause at the moment!
