Hi

I've just been told that I have a red alert for my front brake pads to be replaced after 13k miles, on my mid 2018 D180 Auto Epace.

This is a massive shock as I live in Jersey and we cant exceed 40mph and there is no consistent high speed or harsh braking that would tend to necessitate a change of front pads after such a short space of time.

Is this a symptom of furhter problems with this model as i've already had to have a whole new top end of the engine fitted and quite frankly, I've had enough of the car.

A response would be appreciated ASAP

I've got squeaking brakes on the rear drivers side. They only squeak when in reverse. Booked it in for a service and ask JLR to take a look. They didn't even remove the wheel and said " no fault found"

I've sent them a recording of the squeaking also.
