Any word on your car? Apparently there are a number of diesel cars that have been sitting on the docks since September :(

Still no news. I'm regularly pestering the dealer, who has actually been very good and answers my emails immediately. Story is that the Landrover Discovery Sports which were under the same compliance cloud as Evoques and E Paces have now been released for sale by the Oz authorities. It looks like I have to wait for the bureaucrats to sign off the documentation for the E Pace. I'm monitoring the car transport tracking system several times a day, but after 2 months it still showing as unbooked.

One good thing that has come out of this is that assuming the car is delivered in the next few weeks, I qualify for the latest Jaguar offer of 5 years warranty and 5 years free servicing, as well as 200,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points That would be compensation enough for the 8 month wait, I think.

I'm still not happy that my car has been sitting on the wharf since the end of December, gathering salt and no doubt copious quantities of seagull droppings!! I'm hoping that my next message will be about the delivery, so I can at last join the E Pacers.

Finally,my car has been released and is due to be delivered to the dealer tomorrow after more than 8 months . I discovered this event on the car transport website tracker, rather from the dealer. I feel like I've been one step ahead of them the whole way. Anyway, all being well, I should be behind the wheel within a week. Yay!

Car is now with the dealer. He is going to try his best to get it ready for the weekend. I'm not that hopeful, but next week will be a blast regardless. Can't wait to get the Oz Cub out on the road. Thanks for all the support and encouragement. :D

That looks great! The only problem you have now is keeping it that clean. :)

Haha, exactly. One day of driving has it covered in dust. Now they are forecasting a week of showers. We're in a drought situation here, so I'll take a dirty car any day. :D
