I have a P200 that is just rolling round to 12 months.

Service warning has come up stating I need a service in 1500 miles. Will this be an interval or a major service? I've been quoted £330 at Jaguar but this sounds a lot to me?
That’s what I paid with my P250 on it’s first service!

Well negotiated, congratulations.

I bought my P200 S Santorini Black from Kontz in Luxembourg. Ordered November 2018 delivered March 2019.

Very close now to one year old and I now have 12960k and “oil service” in 550k. I love the car and enjoy it very much.

I have downsized from a BMW X5 diesel where the services were every two years so having to get used to yearly servicing.

I wonder how much Kontz will charge me for this “oil service” It will be interesting to find out.

Phone round my first service was quoted as that from local dealer and when I called around the price was 100 pounds less. Phoned nearby dealer again and eventually price matched.

As for going out with main dealer, I would not give JLR any possible out for warranty work and if you plan on another one it will harm residuals. Yeah I know in theory not but......

Luis.

I think the service price is between £300-400 and it is expensive but it keeps it within the warranty and gives you peace of mind. I personally wouldn’t go to a third party within its warranty period. Others do and get it cheaper and good luck to them. I think it’s also important to have a good relationship with your dealership 😀
