I painted them red. No wear signs after 2 years. Looks much better with black wheels.

 

Bought a fabulous used e-pace r-dynamic HSE 250P with 19” black wheels.
I’m thinking about getting red brake callipers.
Can anyone advise if it would be better to get calliper covers or just have them painted red? If I got them painted would it eventually wear off?

Before my E-Pace I had a black XK, beautiful car, but a tad expensive, I painted the calipers, not very costly, easy to do and still look good (the car is still for sale at my local garage, so had a quick look last week and the calipers are like they were when I painted them 4 years ago) Up to you if you are happy to do it yourself or get them done professionally.

On a different note, having a red E-Pace now, with silver alloys, I have toyed with the idea of painting the calipers, but am not sure which colour would suit best, so any advice gratefully received.

 

As an older lady, painting callipers is not something I’d tackle myself! However I have arranged at a local Bodyshop to have them done next week. When booking in they asked what colour red I’d like. Apparently there are several shade’s available. So good luck in finding a match!
